   Celebrating Vernon Moffitt (1924-2001) & Joyce Moffitt (1930-1999), Strong Unionists, Strong Environmentalists with the installation of a commemorative plaque at State Mine Heritage Park, State Mine Gully Road, Lithgow. Travel to Lithgow - stay overnight - or catch 8:24am train departing Central to be picked up by coach at Lithgow Railway Station at 11:15am to see Lithgow's spectacular pagoda landscape at Dobbs Drift Lookout and then return to State Mine Heritage Park for a ceremony where Vern and Joyce will be remembered not only as revered coal mining unionists but also being the greatest advocates for protecting Lithgow's Gardens of Stone.
