 Walk from the top of Macquarie Pass near Mt Murray down through a gap in the escarpment then down a series of old trails and a service road to the bottom of Macquarie Pass. Hazards: Steep, rough, uneven ground, overgrown tracks, tree fall, often off track. Illawarra Highway is crossed a number of times. Location: Macquarie Pass NP Map: Robertson 90284N Limit:10. Walk from the top of Macquarie Pass near Mt Murray down through a gap in the escarpment then down a series of old trails and a service road to the bottom of Macquarie Pass.
Meet at Bowral Pool at 9:30am or Cascades Car Park at 10:45 if coming from the coast. Car shuffle will be required between Mt Murray Road at the top of Macquarie Pass and Cascades car park at the bottom.
