Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(Changed Transport Details) Meet at Katoomba Station and car shuttle to start of the Ikara Head Trail. Walk along track to Ikara Head, walk back and turn off to track leading to Girraween Cave, then walk off-track to Asgard Swamp Track, walk to Thor Head, going briefly to the swamp on the way. From Thor Head, walk back to the Asgard Swamp Track and go on to Asgard Head Lookout, on a faint track to the top of Asgard Head and then off-track to Asgard Swamp Track and back to the start. Girraween Cave is a lovely cave and the views from the heads over the Grose Valley are breathtaking. Cars required. Please state whether driving when requesting to join. Hazards: Steep and slippery sections, creek crossings and off-track sections.
