  (Changed Transport Details) Walk from Lithgow to Oaky Park and through culvert to Ida Falls. Visit Blast Furnace Park and Lake Pillans Wetlands on way from Lithgow Station. Catch bus back to Lithgow. Hazards: A torch for the culvert might be handy if it is foggy. One creek crossing is on logs and a metre above creek. Walk from Lithgow to Oaky Park and through culvert to Ida Falls. Visit Blast Furnace Park and Lake Pillans Wetlands on way from Lithgow Station. Catch bus back to Lithgow.
Catch the 6:23am train from Central and bus at Mt Vic to Lithgow ETA 9:16am. Bring a few dollars for the bus back to Lithgow or walk if we are earlier enough. Aiming for the 1:20pm bus to Katoomba to catch the usual train back to Central.
