Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFirst time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.Co-leader Renate Wood. This walk takes you through the High Eucalypt forest preserved in the Field of Mars Reserve, skirts around the Field of Mars Cemetery, crosses the mangroves of Buffalo Creek and joins a short section of the Great North Walk along Lane Cove River with beautiful views over the river. Bush tracks & boardwalks. Look also at next weeks walk from Westmead as you have to book a week ahead for that one. Hazards: Steps and a few roads to cross.
