  (Nearly fully booked) Today we walk from Springwood to Valley Heights via Martins Lookout, Perch Pond and Magdala Gully Track. Beautiful sandstones, waterfalls, wildflowers and trees. Majestic views at Martin's Lookout but very steep climb to get there... Some parts are 47% climb. Expect a long day as we are taking our time to climb. Hazards: Some part of the track is hard. Steep and slippery sections. Goretex boots an advantage. Walk will be cancelled in severe weather warning, bush fire warning or park closure. We will meet at Springwood Station. Train leaves Central at 7:24am, arriving Springwood at 8:49. Meet on platform.
