Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFamily | A trip that is planned to cater for children and their parents.First time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)Slow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.About the walk... This is the kids opportunity to get into the wild!! We will have some little games to keep them amused but most of the fun will be from spending time in nature with other kids. Cascades at Macquarie Pass provides a perfect experiential platform for the kids to enjoy nature and learn about the environment around them. Our Group Leader Kelly will be guiding the walk and activities, so you will be in for a real treat! The walk is quite easy and we are going to take it very slowly so the kids can get a real hands on experience on the forest floor, dipping their toes in the creek and staring up at the canopy above. The morning is perfect for preschoolers right through to primary (older kids are most welcome too). Parents will need to tag along with the experience (only family tickets available), but bring a thermos and morning tea we will all catch up on the grass afterwards in the sun for a chat while the kids have a play!
