 A repeat for those who missed the walk last year (like me!). The Pretty Plain area is a lovely part of Kosciuszko National Park. Great scenery, lovely bushland, and two of the best of the huts to camp nearby. Even better, we spend multiple days near each hut (two nights at Pretty Plain and three nights at Wheelers). Access is via Dargals Trail to Pretty Plain (a new way thanks the exploration of the last year's group). We return along Pretty Plain, Hell Hole Track and take the shortcut across to Wheelers Hut. Return from Wheelers Hut is again via Dargals Trail. At the start and end of walk we stay at a Ski Lodge at Jindabyne with the usual BBQs on the deck overlooking the lake. A lovely walk with relaxing time near the huts. Location: Kosciuszko NP Limit: 12. View |
