Meet at Leura Station. Get into cars and drive to the start at Mt Hay Road. Walk along Fortress Ridge Track to Fortress Rock Lookout. Then to Dr Darks Cave and off track to Fortress Ridge Track. Walk along Fortress Ridge Track to Fortress Falls passing Fortress Hill. The last section to Fortress Falls involves rock scrambling on a steep descent/ascent. Return to cars along Fortress Ridge Track. Need cars. Please state whether driving up or travelling by train. Steep and slippery Sections, creek crossings, off-track section and some rock scrambling.
