  Thirlmere Lakes National Park contains five connected freshwater lakes on a horseshoe bend in an old river valley and set in some delightful bushland. In fact it is part of the Greater Blue Mountains UNESCO World Heritage area. When walking, keep an eye out for animals. Booking essential giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. Drivers wanted as this will determine how many we can take. It is Bank Holiday.
