    Co-led by a local who will give an overview of the archaeology in the Congo area. Start at the Congo Campground parking area on CampGround Road. Walk along Congo Road onto the Bingi Dreaming Track (all on track). Wear good boots, long pants, hat, afternoon tea, water. Carpooling option available from Batemans Bay on from 11am with a Moruya Markets visit from 11.30-12.30. Petrol contribution encouraged.

  Rising high above the surrounding farmlands is an isolated ridge of pink and grey granite, the stunning, and in places rugged, Evans Crown nature reserve, where there are many outcrops certainly worth exploring and climbing for the magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. Also, at this time of the year the wattle is usually in full flower so the hills are covered in gold making walking in the area even more compelling!
