 (Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Carpool and drive from Katoomba Station to the locked gate close to Explorers Tree. Meander around tracks to a number of lookouts and passing Mt Elphinstone. Interesting undulating terrain with Rediata Pine trees. Cars required. Please indicate whether you will be driving. This walk is a variation of the walk on 20 Dec 2023 when we shortened the walk and didn't walk on tracks which are very muddy and slippery on account of the heavy rain. Steep and slippery sections.
