Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).You must be fully vaccinated. No abseils but plenty of scrambling (use of rope), rock hopping, and short swims. We will do the extended version, starting at Mount Wilson Road and exiting at the entrance to the Bowens Creek North Lower (abseiling) section. Helmets are compulsory. Bring dry bags. Wetsuits recommended. About 8 km. Canyon Grade 2.

Hazards: Rough track, slippery rocks, deep water.

Pretty along creek, with a waterfall. Some Quite wet tiny track. Management trail was good up to solander track, which was tarmac. Lots of ups and downs. Those who use hiking sticks would need them. Visitors/info centre, next to Senses track, now has a coffee machine. View
