Park one car at GR 735 932 and another one at GR 748 936 on Mountain Lagoon Road. From the first car, walk north along a spur, then down into Psychedelic Ravine. Follow it downstream, making detours to see some interesting sites, including Chain of Ponds on one of the tributaries. A shortish walk to explore the natural beauty of Killalea State Park near Shellharbour. There’s been plenty of media reports about the plans to (over)develop this park so this walk will provide an opportunity to have a look around and better understand what the issues are. NPA are advocating for the area to become Regional Park under the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Act and therefore be managed by NPWS. Limit: 16. View |

This walk begins by following boardwalks through the Warriewood wetlands. For a while it follows Fern Creek and climbs up the escarpment to Ingleside on steep bush tracks. On the way down the track and steps follow a part of Mullet creek, passing the Irrawong waterfall, before taking boardwalks and paths to finish at Narrabeen. Slippery in parts, creek crossings. (Fully Booked) Co-leader: Esther. We walk from Medlow Bath to Blackheath. We walk to the Three Brothers, then follow Glen Rosa Track to Blackheath. The route will take us to The Great Blue Mountains Trail, Wonderland Track, Tuckers Lookout, the Sunbath, and waterfalls. This is a gorgeous walk with never-ending views of the Megalong Valley and the Coliseum. 5 creek crossings, narrow, rocky and wet paths. Long sleeve shirts and trousers recommended as some paths are overgrown and narrow. Gortex boots an advantage. Walk will be cancelled in severe weather warning, bush fire warning or park closure. Please check your mail box the night before to make sure walk is still on. Steep and slippery sections. No-touch sign-on. Social distancing will be observed. Please bring hand sanitizer. We are walking from Lapstone Station, through the forest down to the Nepean River and visiting the historic Penrith Regional Gallery on the way. We will walk around the river with lovely views and a bit of history. We are planning to finish at Penrith Station, though an early exit at Emu Plains is possible.
