Then it’s bush track to beautiful Kariong Brook Falls and fire trails and tracks to Mt Wondabyne with panoramic views. To finish we pass Woy Woy tip and road walk to Woy Woy station. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longBonnum Pic is a spectacular peak which rises above the Wollondilly River, but on this trip we will approach it without a big climb by following the rocky Escarpment Route which is a wonderful skyline traverse and hopefully the flowers will be out in force. Last time we didn't quite make it to the end so I'm hoping to do better this time! Rock scrambling.

This walk is co-led by Geoffrey Lee and Esther Chow. No need to contact but email rsvp is appreciated. This is a magnificent walk focusing on the harbour itself – the expanse of water, the bridges, islands, urban bushland and city skyline. The route winds along parts of the foreshore, into bays and on to headlands, through bush, along historic streets and over grand bridges. Part 3 starts from Huntleys Point Wharf and finishes at Balmain East Wharf. Bring water, snacks and lunch. Some slippery sections.

Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wild flowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.

Medium, 6 kilometres. Leader: Martin Bell (TBC) or Peter Cannon. Walkers are reminded to bring along enough food and water for the entire day as well as suitable clothing, footwear, hat and sunscreen. A pair of good binoculars and a fold up chair is recommended.
