 The Ledge between Pipeline Track and Petries Gully. Park at the Newnes Campground and walk the Pipeline Track till the top of the initial raise at about GR 446 264, then move west and locate a ledge above the first line of cliffs. Follow it west, hopefully all the way into Petries Gully, which may or may not be possible. If successful, this will be a short day, so it may be combined with another short recce from Newnes Campground. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
