|We will walk from Heathcote station to the intersection of Kangaroo Creek with Engadine Creek, then follow Kangaroo Creek to Olympic Pool and Karloo Pool, before returning to Heathcote station. Possile swims at the pools. Steep and slippery sections.

|Train arrives at 8:42 am, transfer to Springwood bus stand 692H at 9:00. Alight Sunset Boulevard and White Cross Road at 9:13.
Walk part of Shaw's Ridge Track, then steep down to Blue Gum Track. Grotto, lovely ferny track, then up to Springwood Ridge Track and St Columba School. Near Hawkesbury Road various track along Birdwood Gully and Springwood Creek to Springwood Station. Option for an exploratory side track (marked on All Trails but I haven't found it yet). Steep, rough, could be slippery whether wet or dry leaves.

|(Fully Booked) McPhails Fire Trail is a downhill walk from the highlands into Kangaroo Valley. The Pipeline Lookout is an excellent morning tea stop before descending through rainforest and around Mt Carrialoo into the valley.
Hazards: Rough track, unfenced cliff edges, very steep descent.

|(NEW!!!) Join Glenda Gartrell for this community event and rare opportunity to step inside some of Newtown's most unique houses. We will visit houses from the late 1800s. The first stop is 26 Oxford Street, an old convent formerly known as St Bede’s Convent and High School Sisters of the Good Samaritan. We will then cross the road to 7 Oxford Street, a turn of the century, worker's semi-detached cottage. We will then take a short walk around the block to the historic Albemarle Street and visit the abode of folk artist and long-time resident and local legend Dianne Gallagher. |(NEW!!!) Aboriginal horticulturalist and proud D'harawal man Terry Lennis will take you on a tour of Whites Creek Valley Park in Annandale. The recent history of this area is well documented, but this is an opportunity to hear the Indigenous perspective on the history of this hidden gem of the Inner West. Terry will explore the horticulture, talk about what aboriginal life was like in such surroundings and delve into the well-loved Food Forest. Through shared stories we grow to understand the many layers that make up this site. We may take photographs of the speakers and the audience at this event. Read here for more details. |(Nearly fully booked) The last of the special trips to Lord Howe Island started during the pandemic. A visit to this World Heritage site is on many people's to-do list. In this trip we not only walk the many beautiful tracks, but also learn from the local experts why the island is so special in the stories of evolution and conservation. You may also encounter one of the most unique birds which was the reason of David Attenborough's 1997 visit. The trip package includes flights, accommodation, restaurant meals, lectures, guided walks, low tide reef walks and night walks. You can also enjoy your own walks, snorkelling, golfing, etc.. |Find out why this part of the Gardens of Stone must be better protected for the future generations.
Park the vehicles at around GR 306 175 on the branch road off the Bicentennial National Trail. Follow the Great Dividing Range north to Gordian Knot and then to Witches Watch, a spectacular lookout above Hecates Cauldron. From here, descend into the Cauldron and explore it underneath the cliff lines and also above, amidst “the bubbles”. Visit the Tower of Hope and other features. Descend into the headwaters of Baal Bone Creek, cross the valley and climb up through Tara Slot onto Tara Point. More amazing views. From here, move up to the ridge and re-connect with the vehicles. Scrambling and exposure. About 10 km.

|A scenic to the gems of La Perouse, bays and beaches, parks and landmarks. Also a short walk through national park. Mostly on off road cycle paths, short distance on road with wide shoulder. Bring lock, spare tubes and walking shoes. Unfortunately, riding an e-bike on this trip will mean that you are not covered under NPA club insurance; Bushwalking Australia is working to see if it can be covered for future trips. Limit: 10. We have a trailer with bbq plate, urn, sink and all eating and cooking utensils. Dinner provided on Saturday night. Opportunity to walk around Diamond Head with its spectacular views, have a swim or drop a line in.

|(Fully Booked) The walk commences at the top of Saddleback Mountain and descends steeply before ascending to Hoddles Track. The track leads along the cliff face and ascends up to enter Barron Grounds. The lunch spot provides beautiful views down to the coast.
Hazards: Rough track, very steep descents and ascents, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.

|From Bill Andriske Oval in Mollymook, walk along the northern end of Mollymook Beach, up to Mitchell Parade and along to the Bannister Head Lookout. A minor but easy scramble to the rockshelf at Bannisters Heads can reveal seals and dolphins and a rarely seen perspective. Really – it’s amazing. Continue behind the houses and magic garden to return via the byways of Mollymook. Coffee etc. on the lawn at the oval. Grade 2-3: Easy/social. Contact leader essential for time and details.
