 The Kangaroo River Fire Trail leads from Tallowa Dam Road down to Lake Yarrunga. The fire trail winds through forest with beautiful ferns, orchids and interesting rock formations to a lovely lunch place on the banks of Lake Yarrunga. Return by the same route.

This pleasant walk starts from Lindfield Park and heads through the bushland to the Two Creeks Track, which it follows through the national park to, and along, Middle Harbour Creek. The walk returns to Lindfield Park via the picturesque Little Digger Track, and through a few shortcut alley ways in East Lindfield. Steep, rugged and slippery sections.

Good tracks but muddy at times, steps, some street walking. Be rewarded with a coffee at one of the great cafes of Leura. You would not want to come home after this out of the world walk.  Two separate walks to two peaks in different areas of the beautiful Guula Ngurra NP, with a minor car shuffle. The Mt Penang loop walk follows a pleasant, well-formed track up to the summit of Mt Penang with its panoramic views. The track winds steadily uphill with a short, steep climb at the end. The Baldy Billy Peak walking track is an out-and-back walk to another summit with spectacular views down into the Wollondilly R valley below. After an initial short but very steep descent we cross a pretty, wide valley floor and then start the slow, steady climb to the summit of Baldy Billy Peak and then return along the same route.
Hazards: Steep climbs & descents, uneven surfaces, indistinct track in places, unfenced cliff edges, slippery in places (walking poles recommended). Location: Guula Ngurra NP (Canyonleigh) Map: Hansworth 8929-3S Limit: 20.

 McPhails Fire Trail is a downhill walk from the highlands into Kangaroo Valley. The Pipeline Lookout is an excellent morning tea stop before descending through rainforest and around Mt Carrialoo into the valley.

  We have an opportunity to explore some of the best of the North Shore of Sydney Harbour.
Starting at Balmoral Beach with its little jetty and huge fig trees; to Middle Head to explore fortifications and cliff top views beyond the Heads; then through angophora trees to Georges Heights and barracks converted to artist studios; and on to Clifton Gardens for lunch. Then we will walk beside secluded bays to the navy memorials at Bradley’s Head. Then it is a short walk to Taronga Zoo for a Ferry to Circular Quay and trains home. Limit: 20.

 Walk from Cheltenham Railway Station to Epping Railway Station via the Lane Cove National Park. We will follow the fire trail along Devlins Creek to the junction with the Great North Walk (GNW). Follow the GNW until the Terrys Creek Track turnoff. Follow this track through various parks until we come to Terrys Creek Falls. We will then back track and walk to the Epping Railway Station. Possible sightings of flannel flowers and other flowers in bloom along this walk. The track could be rough and slippery in parts. Creek crossings.

Continue on the track to the left of the Glow Worm Glen steps which winds along to Buchanan's Lookout. Optional opportunity to continue to Elsmere Lookout.
