For experienced walkers. Bruces Walk dates from 1931. Walking from Bullaburra to Wentworth Falls. Yes, this is uphill. This walk cuts across two valleys. Rough track in places. We will walk from Fairy Meadow train station, through Puckeys Estate Nature Reserve, then to Stuart Park and Flagstone Lighthouse, then a bit uphill to Wollongong train station.  It’s a flat walk on bush tracks through Puckeys, grassy walk in Stuart Park and footpaths to the station. We will see beautiful bushland, the lagoon, bird life, beaches and the harbour.  There may be a sea breeze. Note: Try to use the toilet at Waterfall station during train connection. LEADER: Steve Ringbauer. The flannel flowers are abundant at this time of the year. The 10km Manly Scenic Walkway beings at Manly Wharf, passes sandy beaches, ancient Aboriginal sites and incredible lookouts, before arriving at the Spit Bridge where you can catch a bus to the city. Distance and time: 10km one-way Level: Grade 3 track. Suitable for most ages and fitness levels with occasional sections of stairs. There are also sections of sand, bush tracks and boardwalk. Not suitable for prams or wheelchair users. Top attractions: Clontarf Reserve, Grotto Point Aboriginal engraving site, Crater Cove Lookout, Forty Baskets Reserve and Manly. Toilet facilities at the start and end of the walk and at Clontarf Reserve, Reef Beach, Forty Baskets Beach, North Harbour Reserve and Fairlight Beach. An out and back walk from Hawkesbury River Station to Kangaroo Point incorporating the Brooklyn Boardwalk and Hornsby Council’s new Kangaroo Point Boardwalk. Easy, level walking along footpaths and boardwalks with scenic views of the Hawkesbury River. This is one of NSW most loved coastal walks and rightly so as you pass so many beautiful features along the way including several beaches which will be welcome as swimming stops as we hike south to the loverly beach town of Gerringong.
