The walk distance is short but vegetation makes for slow going. Good views. Walk to Tuckers lookout, then to the Sun Bath. Tracks to several lookouts, views of the Hydro Majestic. Some evidence of a previous flying fox down to the Megalong Valley. Track to the Three Brothers. Return to Medlow Bath. Old tracks, trees roots, logs, strappy tree bark, muddy areas. Scratchy veg, long sleeves suggested.

Some off track. Creek crossings. Rock scrambling. Track down to Sandy Hole steep. Sand on rocks could be slippery. Close to creek at times, so some possibility of getting wet.

Starting from Wentworth Park Light Rail Station, we'll walk a loop including Blackwattle Bay, Jubilee Park, The Tramsheds, Johnston and Orphan Creeks, Forest Lodge, and Glebe, completing the loop at the New Sydney Fish Markets. If the ferry has been integrated into the Opal network by February, we will have the option of finishing the day with a ferry ride from Blackwattle Bay to Barangaroo. I booked the following coach: 7:10 leaving central 10:15 arriving Canberra 6:30 pm leaving Canberra 21:40 arriving central cost: $18 when we arrive Canberra, we’ll catch a bus to the starting point of the walk.
