This walk starts and finishes at Killara station. It visits a number of reserves and parks,  including the Henry Seidler Reserve, Swain Gardens and the Seven Little Australians Park. Whales, seals & dolphins can often be seen . Our walk concludes with a visit to the historic Bare Island fort  at La Perouse. This area is deeply  significant to the local indigenous people. This walk would focus on the Battle for Victoria Street, Abe Saffron and the disappearance of Juanita Neilson. After the walk we’ll have a thank you lunch at Kinselas Hotel to thank Trevor coming all the way from Lake Macquarie. Walkers to contribute $5 each towards mr and Mrs McAlister‘s lunch. Next, traverse above Tootie Creek to the west, till about GR 691 925. Explore up the gully to the north, then re-cross Tootie Creek and exit up West Ridge to the south. About 6 km. This walk will take us to a system of creeks and waterfalls where timber cutters used to roam and although the stumps are still there to see, there's so much to explore in this region that will keep us occupied for many an hour. A pleasant, relaxing walk from Bellambi station to the beach along to Bellambi Lagoon and follow the shared walk/cycle path to Puckeys Estate and Stuart Park. Then to North Wollongong station. Here you can also  get a stunning view of the Lithgow valley. We will stop to admire the Blast Furnace park. The walk out to this feature follows an amazing ridge full of interesting pagoda like rocks with fabulous views all along the way.
