Twister and Rocky Creek Canyons.
Twister is relatively short with several slides and jump-ins. Almost immediately downstream, Rocky Creek canyon is longer, deeper and spectacular. No abseiling, but jumps into pools, climbing down ropes, negotiating slippery rocks and swimming in cold water are all included. After the canyons we will walk for about a kilometer down a beautiful section of Rocky Creek before climbing out. There is some exposure on the final part of the climb. Helmet required for doing Twister, wet suit highly recommended. You will get cold doing these canyons, even on a hot day and full swimming cannot be avoided. Drive in is OK for 2 wheel drive. Canyon grades 2 and 1. Hazards: Age limit 12. Limit:12. Map: Rock Hill, Wollemi National Park
