Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.Starting (and ending) at the Sphinx, a series of carvings by a recuperating WW1 soldier as a memorial to his mates, at the entrance to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park we wind down to the beautiful Cowan Creek and follow it into Bobin Head. There is a steep climb up the ridge on a fire trail which we follow back to the start. You can come by car or public transport and we are meeting mid morning. Booking essential. Hazards: Rough track surfaces and slippery sections.

Catch the 577 Bus from stand D at Turramurra Station at 9:13am, arriving at Ku-Ring-Gai Creative Arts High School at 9:27am or drive and park just outside the Park entrance.
