|Starting (and ending) at the Sphinx, a series of carvings by a recuperating WW1 soldier as a memorial to his mates, at the entrance to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park we wind down to the beautiful Cowan Creek and follow it into Bobin Head. There is a steep climb up the ridge on a fire trail which we follow back to the start. You can come by car or public transport and we are meeting mid morning. Booking essential. Rough track surfaces and slippery sections.
