Lovely level walk on fire trail before starting down shady track to easy creek crossing. Follow creek through lush forest to pleasant picnic spot, Bobbin Head. Optional side trip to Apple Tree Bay. Fairly easy uphill to Kalkari Visitor Centre. Longish level track through bush paralleling road and short stretch in residential area before arrival at Mt Colah Station. Meet Wahroonga Station Exit 1 Illoura Avenue at 7.45 in order to catch 8am bus 576 to end of Grosvenor St, head of Gibberagong Trail. End at Mt Colah Station.
