Here we find tall trees, and patches of rainforest in the deep gullies. As always, there is a climb out of the valley. We return to Springwood Station via Sassafras Gully Rd after a little sidetrip to see the stone cross. Hazards: No major creek crossings, but there are a number of short shallow ones. We shouldn't have to take our shoes off. Wet rocks may be slippery near creeks. Sand on rocks is also slippery.
