Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) A walk through an enchanted and rarely visited tree fern forest. We will climb down into a hidden world of mossy logs, giant tree ferns, (‘Dicksonia Antartica’) and small streams. Many of the old tree ferns have fallen over, but are boldly regrowing in unusual directions, giving the appearance of giant caterpillars. We will travel through two steep-sided creek valleys that are northern tributaries of Dingo Creek. Time permitting, we will also climb up onto the pagodas separating the ravines for views across the Dingo Ck system. Mostly off-track, some thick bush, and some exposed spots. Hazards: Off-track. Some rock scrambling.
