Your presence will support a 39,000 hectare Gardens of Stone reserve proposal that seeks to facilitate a transition for the Lithgow region. Now is the time to make a change, as the 100 significant heritage values of Gardens of Stone region can’t wait for further degradation. Existing coal mining needs to make way for a sustainable, lower impact, local economy based on tourism.

The banner event site can be accessed from Lithgow by conventional car and there is adequate parking. An interurban train from Central Station departs at 8:18am and arrives in Lithgow at 11:10am where you will be picked up and transported to the event. We encourage you to check details prior to travel: ph: 131500 or http://www.sydneytrains.info/timetables There are NO facilities on-site, so please bring everything you need – a litre of drinking water, food, sun protection, hat, rain jacket, sturdy shoes and camera.
