We start at the car park for Ferry Wharf at Rydalmere. ( John Street). After crossing the Silverwater Bridge , we continue to The Armory and then into Olympic Park and Bicentennial Parks. The exact route through these parks may be varied from discussion with riders, with final decisions by the leader.   The ride is mostly flat but there is the option of including some steeper gradients.   From Rhodes we cross the old railway bridge to Meadowbank and return to Rydalmere on the north side of Parramatta River.   Distance 30 Km approximately. The greatest hazards are other park users: walkers, dogs and other cyclists. There are a few tight spots to be negotiable, so there is always the risk of a spill. There may be slippery sections of pathways. There are a number of road crossings. Traffic can be fast moving.
