 Commence with a short steep climb from the station followed with a long, gradual descent on a variety of un-named tracks to the Hacking River. After a break, back track and follow the Hacking River fire trail and cross the river. Follow the Red Cedar and Karingal circuit and return across the river. Ascend a short off track section to pick up a variety of tracks back to Helensburgh Station.
