This walk provides plenty of variety: enjoy waterviews on the way through Birchgrove and Balmain, walk part of the Bay Run around Iron Cove, then follow the paths along the Hawthorn Canal, finishing at Lewisham Station. Streets, bicycle paths, flat but some steps. Bring plenty of water - much of this walk is exposed but there are shady sections and hopefully sea breezes.
