Based at the Alivio Tourist Park. You can caravan, cabin or camp. Come for the paddle, cycle or both. Flexible days where you can opt to do your own thing. Some of the planned activities are Paddling Burley Griffin, 2 cycling days around the lake visiting galleries & exhibits etc, Canberra Zoo, Botanical Gardens & Arboretum and a 40/60 km ride to Belconnen and Gungahlin. Virtually all the cycling shall be on bike trails. Weather will determine the day/days we paddle. PFDs compulsory. Limit: 18. View

Paddle | A canoe or kayak trip(NEW!!!) Kayak, Grade 5 (weather dependant), early start. Bring drinking water and breakfast. Kayak Port Jackson and Watsons Bay. Sea kayaks essential (contact leader to discuss suitable kayak and experience), start and finish at the beach near Robertson Park, Military Road, Watsons Bay. Paddle past Camp Cove, Bottle Glass Point, Shark Bay, Steele Point, Shark Island, Rose Bay then back to Watsons Bay. Conditions: Open water, tidal, some heavy traffic. PFDs compulsory. View

Cycle | A cycling tripPaddle | A canoe or kayak tripCamp | a trip that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.First time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)Four day paddles and 3 days cycling based at a caravan park so you can caravan, cabin or camp. Two day paddles around the lake and its creek systems, upper Myall Lakes at Neranie and Smith Lake. 3 days bike riding around Foster and forestry tracks. Participants can chose to simply cycle or paddle however the weather may determine activities  each day. Priority will be given to those wishing to both cycle and paddle. Paddlers must be competent and equipped for open water paddling. PFDs compulsory. If we ride some forestry trails those rides will be more suited to hybrid or mountain bikes. Limit: 18. View

8-19 Nov, Thu-Mon Edwards River

Paddle | A canoe or kayak tripCamp | a trip that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Slow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.Paddling the full length of the Edwards River. The Edwards is an annabranch of the Murray starting at Picnic Point and rejoining the Murray 60km down stream of Swan Hill. Camping out of the kayaks/canoes. The pace is easy but paddlers need to be able to pack and camp out of their kayaks for up to 5 days and there will be number of weirs to portage. Snags in the river and weirs to portage. PFDs compulsory.
