(Fully Booked) Due to popular demand - 2nd offer of this walk. On this circular walk we will visit key sites in this industrial, cultural and maritime historic area. Including, 1904 original facade Powerhouse (electric), 1867 St Bede Church, 1806 Elizabeth Macarthur favourite family picnic ground, 1877-1946 Pyrmont Tidal Baths, 1855 Paradise Quarry and the 1922 Angel of Peace WW1 Memorial. Flat foreshore walk with some up and down street walking. Return to city L1, bus or ferry. COVID safe participant numbers.

Walk the foreshore from Abbotsford Wharf to Chiswick Wharf (Blackwall Point) following the foreshore track by Abbotsford Bay where possible. View the 1890 Abbotsford House at Figtree Bay. Some street walking, steps and street climbs from foreshore. Return by same scenic route. COVID-19 safe numbers. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Slow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.Between Ball Bone Point and Baal Bone Gap is a ridge full of fantastic rock formations many of which resemble animals, a boot and well anything your imagination can conjure up! On this walk I intend to photograph and seek out as many of these formations as possible in a leisurely pace. However there might be some tape work involved so be prepared for off-track walking as we explore this marvellous area. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

Swim | A trip that involves swimmingWalk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longSlow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.Normally a canyon involves getting wet feet and a swim, abseil or at least a wade through waist-deep water but Nobles Cayon, also known as the Dry Canyon is a rare exception and a wonderfully spectacular one at that. On this trip we will follow Nobles Canyon down past its 2 constrictions to the cliff lines above Carne Creek then explore the cliff lines south of that creek before crossing over a pagoda laden ridge back to the main track. Rock scrambling and off-track.
