   This would be very good as the first walk for those wishing to try out pack walking. From Hornsby Station a few streets and link up with Great North Walk. Head to Crosslands reserve (approx. 18 km, mostly downhill and relatively easy with one tricky creek crossing). We join NPA annual Christmas Party at lunch time. Then we camp at Crosslands: beautiful spot with water and toilets. Walk out next day to Berowra Station (6 km). Hazards: Slippery sections. Location: Berowra Valley NP Map: Hawkesbury Limit:15.
