Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longStarting from the former Orroral Tracking Station, this challenging 7km return walk features steep sections through Namadgi National Park. Spectacular granite boulder formations await at the summit after about an hour's climb. We will explore a magnificent section of the Garigal NP. The tracks wind through creeks, gullies, lush ferns & tall trees. It will give us stunning views of Middle Harbour & Bantry Bay. Serene, secluded & a great place to watch birds & fish. Slippery rocks. Mud.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPark the vehicles at around GR 306 175 on the branch road off The Bicentennial National Trail. Follow the Great Dividing Range north to Gordian Knot, visit Stargate Tunnel and then proceed to the escarpment above McLeans Pass. Walk west, enjoying stunning views of the Capertee Valley, then south to spectacular Firebird Rocks. Next, explore the promontory to the south east before making our way down to Baal Bone Creek and then up to Tara Point. Walk back to the vehicles. About 8 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory.
