Plus its not all that far from sydney and accessible by public transport. | Find out why this part of the Gardens of Stone must be better protected for the future generations.
Park vehicles on a side road off Waratah Ridge Road at GR 455 010. Follow an old trail south till GR 461 005, then descend a gully to the south to a tributary of Bungleboori. Follow it downstream to Bungleboori. Climb out on a spur at GR 469 994, head north to the trail and then visit the Five Ladies Lookout. If there is time, we will also visit the Midsummer Nights Grotto. Walk back to the vehicles. Wet feet and more. Bring dry bags. Scrambling and exposure. About 7 km.
