High above the Newnes Campground is Old Baldy, a massive set of cliffs named by rock climbers and within its rocky face is the Skywalker Traverse, a long a series of ledges and overhangs. This is a great walk and not that difficult, although it does entail some scrambling, mainly off-track walking, but certainly worth it. Intending walkers should be fully vaxxinated.
