While this walk is not “Strictly for the Birds”, they do play a major part in it. Between Town Hall and Circular Quay the walk passes some beautiful sculptures of birds (Terrance Plowright's "Dancing Brolgas", Michael Thomas's Hill's "Forgotten Songs", Tracey Emin's " The Distance of your Heart” and Stephen Walker's “Tank Stream” fountains). After a ferry ride the walk then continues on Cockatoo Island where the seagulls are raising their chicks. Live pigeons, ibis and seagulls included! Hazards: city traffic, steps, seagulls.
