Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPark at the end of Drip Rock Trail and make our way via several ridges to Clews Cave. From there, ascend Island Mountain, then descend to the Colo. Walk up a tributary to the north east and climb back up. Walk back to the vehicle. About 10 km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

Cockatoo Island is a source of intrigue and inspiration for visitors owing to its heritage buildings, distinctive terrain and panoramic views. Popular attractions include heritage and campground accommodationwaterfront cafés and picnic spots. We meet at Cockatoo Island wharf at 10:15 am. There are some steep stairs. A rough estimate of length is 5 km, including a walk to a pub in Balmain for lunch after catching a ferry from Cockatoo Island to Balmain after touring the island.
