![]() To celebrate the centenary of the Myles Dunphy and Herbert 'Bert' Gallop's 1914 adventure into the heart of the southern Blue Mountains the Colong Foundation has organised a series of walks as parallel event with the IUCN World Parks Congress. These series of walks can be done as one big walk or you may want to join for just some sections. The walk starts by following the Six Foot Track then to Dingo Dell - Unirover Trail - Yerrenderie to Picton. You mus register and pay a small fee please see website for more information. http://www.colongwilderness.org.au/ Sections of this walk are in remote areas and are for experienced bushwalkers only. You can join in for some easier sections if you prefer.

An easy/moderate day walk from Katoomba Cultural Centre to Old Ford Reserve. You can choose to walk back to Katoomba or be driven back by bus around 10pm. Basic BBQ dinner provided. There will be a formal walk launch at 10am at the Katoomba Cultural Centre, 30 Parke Street, Katoomba, morning tea provided. There will be a campfire sing along and kids are welcome. You can also camp the night if you want.
