Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longLake Yarrunga. This walk descends on Griffins fire trail from the locked gate to a morning tea spot at Gales Flat. Not far from this point there is an unused fire trail to the right signed to Lake Yarrunga. This fire trail has many fallen trees and is very overgrown and continues the descent to Lake Yarunga. The trail passes through rain forest with glimpses of Lake Yarunga and the Kangaroo River. Very rough track, loose stones and sticks, fallen trees and thick undergrowth. Limit: 12. Iconic three day pack walk along the Wolgan/Capertee divide. This classic walk has spectacular views and excellent walking and camping in amazing pagoda country. Mt McLean, Blue Rocks Gap, Hughes Defile, Red Rocks Gap, Collet Gap, Mt Dawson and down to Newnes along Little Capertee Creek. Possibly time for some side trips. Limited places.
