(Date Changed) The walk begins at Manning Lookout near Fitzroy Falls. Here there are great views over Kangaroo Valley. The walk then follows the escarpment past several view points and along a fence line across a couple of small creeks to Crystal Pool. The water leaves the pool to fall over the escarpment into the valley below. Return by the same route. Indistinct and easily lost track, rough track, fallen trees, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges Location: Morton NP (Fitzroy) Limit: 20. View

(NEW!!!) Joadja Nature reserve was created in 2001. The management trail meanders through Eucalypt forest to a rocky lookout giving views over creeks and farmland. Returning to the Wombeyan Caves Rd we cross and walk a little way to another fire trail and lookout towards Wombeyan Caves. This is a lovely lunch place. Fitzroy Falls West Rim and East Rim Tracks provide spectacular views of the main falls, Twin Falls, the Grotto and the valley between the two tracks. The vegetation is very different on each of the tracks. Extension to Plane crash site off track. Return to the car park for Melbourne Cup Festivities. Slippery rocks. (Leader Changed) This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wildflowers are prolific and the view is spectacular. Steep rough track, slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges. NOTE: Sections of this track have become quite overgrown. Stokes and O’Hares Creeks enclose a succession of idyllic waterholes, three of which are accessed on this delightful walk. Keep looking up for those koalas! Well-formed tracks/fire trails. (Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Our last Tuesday walk for the year and a chance for a swim or relax at a couple of beautiful water holes. From the junction of Redhills Rd & Gunrock Falls FT, we will head through a forest to Gunrock Falls for an optional swim and relax. We will then head to Bundanoon Ck for lunch and optional swim before heading back to Redhills Rd via Gunrock FT. There will be a short car shuffle at the beginning of the walk so we don’t have to walk the 2.5 km along the rd at the end of the walk. Slippery rocks, unfenced cliff edges, a little scrambling. Limit: 20. View
