(Leader Changed) Bundanoon Creek offers some spectacular cliff faces.  From Tallowa Dam Picnic area we head NE up Lake Yarrunga (Kangaroo River) for 2.5km then head north into Bundanoon Creek for 4.5km to the head waters. On the return, we will take a short 2km detour up Sandy Creek before heading back to the start. Participants to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. Deep water. Few exit points. Exposed in high winds. Location: Lake Yarrunga - Kangaroo Valley Limit: 12. View

(Date Changed) From the camp ground at Beehive Point we will head up Yarrunga Creek for 4 kms to the head of waters. On the way we will view the magnificient stone walls of the original road from Kangaroo Valley to Mossvale. See the old road disappear into the waters of Lake Yarrunga and reappear further upstream.  On return to Beehive point we can optionally poke around the numerous inlets for some bonus paddles. Participants to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. Deep water. Few exit points. Exposed in high winds. Approx 100 m of portage down a road to launch area. From the Burnum Burnum Boat Ramp we'll head upstream to the head of waters of Woronora River for lunch and a short bushwalk to see the old Cobb & Co road to the Illawarra. - Kayak hire available from Woronora Boatshed Ph 9545 2584. Participants to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. Notes: - Friendly tides. - School holidays. - New departure location. Tidal. Deep water. (Fully Booked) This is an optional 1 (14km) or 3 (29km) day paddle. Day 1: We will head up the Shoalhaven River 7km for lunch.  The one day paddlers will then make their way back while the campers will set up camp. Day 2: Make our way up to Fossickers Flat for lunch then return to camp. Day 3: Break camp and make our way back to Tallowah Dam. - Participants to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. - If camping then organise own tent, cooking etc. Note: "!! We launch in the crystal-clear waters opposite the river mouth then head upstream to explore deep into two mangrove forests. We will then paddle further upstream to some very civilised table and chairs near Nungarry Rest Area for lunch before heading back. (Date Changed) For the full (23km) trip we will launch from Audley. For those wanting a shorter (17km) paddle will launch from Swallow Rock Reserve, Grays Point. We will make our way down Hacking River and up SW Arms Ck into the RNP & stopping at Winnifred Falls for lunch then return.
