 McPhails fire trail is a downhill walk from the highlands into Kangaroo Valley. The Pipeline Lookout is an excellent morning tea stop before descending through rain forest and around Mt Carrialoo into the valley. Hazards: Rough track, unfenced cliff edges, very steep descent.
