  (NEW!!!) This is only 3.4 km loop track – a lot of which is on a fire trail. There is a lovely swimming hole and waterfall at The Basin on the Georges River. However, reviews suggest that the track along the river is a bit overgrown and at times rough. There are steep steps on leaving the river. The overall elevation gain is 90m and the walk is classed as a moderate (grade 3) hike.
We will meet at 9.30am at the end of Georges River Rd Kentlyn, where there is an ample car park. Bring your swimmers and morning tea/lunch.
If time permits we may visit Freres Crossing after our return to the car park.
