Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long60 Best walks | This is one of the NPA's 60 best walks.(Updated Details) Our citizen science survey gathers important data to inform future conservation efforts of the Eastern Water Dragon in Australia. We will:
  • Record demographics and locations of Dragons spotted along the walk
  • Record Flight Initiation Distance and Flight Distance of each Dragon we see
  • Measure ground temperature and canopy cover
  • Note local flora that forms Dragon habitat
  • Collect rubbish in an effort to improve habitat condition
In case of poor weather conditions, we may have to cancel the event. If you have RSVP-ed, you will be informed of this decision as soon as possible.
