 A biodiversity offset property with a beautiful rainforest. The land was being restored by the owner over many years but suffered major damage during the bushfires.
What needs to be done: Chainsawing, cutting branches, clearing pathways etc
Skills required: Need a couple of people with chainsaws who know how to use them.
Tools to bring: See above re chainsaws; plus secateurs and rakes, although there are some on the property.
Group limit: We have people for light duties already. As this is a smaller property, need 2-3 people for chainsawing/branch cutting, so people with chainsaws will be given first priority.
Note these is not a club activity. Everyone volunteers on their own accord. Please let Yuri Bolotin know at 0413 715 943, yuri@bigci.org if you would like to join him, and he will get back to you with the logistics.
