|Ben Bullen State Forest, part of the Gardens of Stone region, encapsulates, in a relatively small area, everything that is exciting and interesting about bushwalking – incredible rock sculptures, tall pagodas, narrow slot canyons, magnificent caves, verdant forests and more. Find out why this area must be protected for future generations. This walk includes a visit to the stunning Hall of Elrond. All off-track, scrambling and exposure.

|Come and see why the superb pagoda formations that comprise the Temple of Doom and Lost Arc Point plus all the surrounding area must be protected in a greater Gardens of Stone National Park.This is a wild area that must be preserved for future generations. On the way back from the TOD we have a brief look at Blackfellows Cave. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

|From Wildflower Reserve walk west to upper reaches of lake. Follow shoreline to boat ramp then fire trail and track to Cooper Creek. Some off-track to shoreline then to outskirts of Kings Point. Return to Wildflower Res via bush track. Figure of 8 walk can be varied. View|

|Cowan to Brooklyn. This is a popular section of the Great North Walk, with scenery ranging from foreshore to ridge top lookouts. We will follow the Great North Walk from Cowan Station down to the picturesque Jerusalem Bay, then climb up over a series of ridges before descending into Brooklyn. This walk is a great one-way trip from station to station with numerous water views, including a circumnavigation of Brooklyn Dam whilst enjoying a wonderful diversity of flora along the way. Slippery sections.

|The first/last leg of the Harbour Circle Walk with short detours in Balmain, Pyrmont, and The Rocks/Barangaroo as time permits. Fully paved with plenty of steps, coffee stops, public amenities and a touch of Sydney’s history. Return from Circular Quay Station to catch 4:01pm train from Central. Paved paths, steps, coffee shops.

|The walk will go from Croobyar Road up an unnamed steep (and not on the map) fire trail to the Kingiman road, then on a track around an unnamed peak and up the ridge to the peak(off track) and back to the Mt Kingiman Road, down the hill on Turpentine Road back to Croobyar. About 11km with a climb of about 300m. Short and sharp, bring morning tea, but back in time for lunch. View|

|Evans Crown Nature Reserve has some of the most impressive boulder formations you're ever likely to see and on this trip I plan to explore as many of these outcrops as possible with forays north and south of Crown Rock. At this time of year the wattle and various other native plants should also be in full bloom which makes for a colourful walk! Rock scrambling.

|2-3 Nov, Sat-Sun||Mt Canobla and Mt Gundangaroo Traverse to St Johns Point|
|A 2-day pack walk. Numbers are strictly limited. Private property access is required. Day 1 - Park near Canobla Gap and ascend Mount Canobla on a razor blade spur. Continue to Mt Gundangaroo and camp near the trig. Water was found in a nearby gully. Day 2 – Walk to St Johns Point, then descend to Canobla Gap Trail and walk back to the cars. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

|Grade:4/6||Length||20km||850m||Southern Sydney Branch|
|Patonga to Wondabyne. This walk explores some grand views, pleasant cascades, varied bushland and remote areas of Brisbane Waters National Park. From Patonga you will walk up the ridge and take a short side trip to enjoy the wonderful views from Warrah Lookout, before following a series of dirt roads and management trails to Patonga Creek in the heart of the national park. The walk then leads along a mix of trails and tracks mostly passing Mt Wondabyne, a worthwhile side trip, before crossing a few gullies with cool creeks and cascades. Past Myron Brook you will walk back down the waters edge at the remote and unique Wondabyne Train Station. Steep and slippery sections.

|Mt Jellore is an outstanding landmark in the Southern Highlands. The walk follows a fire trail through private property to Mt Jellore. The final 150 metres are very steep and give access to a trig point. A little further on there are spectacular views. Return by the same route. Very steep and rough track, unfenced lookout.
