|Goochs Crater is an amazing natural formation deep within the Wollemi National Park, surrounded by a complex of rugged pagodas, canyons and slots and certainly worth exploring! In times of heavy rain it becomes a lake full of wildlife and for the nature photographer is a compelling place to visit! Rock scrambling and some off-track walking.

|(NEW!!!) Walk to Oaky Park and through culvert to Ida Falls. Visit Blast Furnace Park and Lake Pillans Wetlands on way to Lithgow Station. A torch for the culvert might be handy if it is foggy. One creek crossing is on logs and a metre above creek. A couple of steep dirt embankments have only rough steps cut into them.

|The track branches off the Nattai Ridge Road to follow a fence line to a track leading to magnificent sandstone cliffs. The track then continues on to join the Rocky Water Holes Track. Walk starts at end of Wattle Ridge Rd at the locked gate. Rough track, slippery creek crossings and scrambling up loose scree slopes.

|(NEW!!!) Walk to Three Sisters. Descend Giant Stairway. Walk down to Sublime Point Trail from Dardanelle and Federal Passes. Walk through the open area that was the Sewerage Farm and follow track up to Leura Cascades and back to Katoomba. Steep sections. Some metal stairways are narrow and can be slippery.

|The track follows the Nattai River from the lake to Nattai Creek where the track to the falls leaves the main track and follows the Nattai Creek Track to the falls. From the Falls a steep climb leads to the Boxvale Track. Rough track, slippery rocks, creek crossing and steep steps.

|(NEW!!!) Rising up from the Wolgan Valley in isolation, Donkey Mountain has always had a great appeal to me and in this my 6th visit I'll explore a few nooks and crannies I haven't been to before! Be prepared to be knocked out by the superlative views from its pagoda studded summit and by the numerous small rooms, slots and passes as we travel from one end to the other. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

|The walk begins at Meryla Pass in Morton NP. From the locked gate continue on the fire trail along the ridge. There are several viewpoints which look towards Mt Carrialoo, Crankeys Creek and Lake Yarrunga until reaching the end of the track overlooking Wombat Hill. On the return there is an optional trail leading to Rebeccas View over Sandys Creek on the other side of the ridge. Rough track and unfenced cliffs.

|A walk to the famous Monolith Valley and Mt Owen camping in overhangs which means no tents needed!
We will have time to explore some of the interesting country between Mounts Cole and Owen including an incredible slot that gives access to Mt Coles summit. Rock scrambling and some off-track walking.

|The annual trip to Splendour Rock in the Blue Mountains, this time on the weekend of full moon. Just two weeks later, in Chile, this moon has a meeting with the sun in a total eclipse. Splendour Rock is a wonderful experience seeing the landscape under full moon, and at sunrise and sunset! This is a lovely trip with an unforgettable view from the campsite.

|Bungonia National Park Green Track is a circuit walk taking in the lookouts over Bungonia Gorge. There are opportunities to extend the walk and to spend time at the various lookouts. Rough track and some steep sections.

|From the end of Jacks Corner Road follow Griffins Fire Trail to a track to the left. Follow this through the forest to a steep descent to the main dirt road leading to Beehive Point on Lake Yarrunga. This is a lovely picnic area and chance for a swim. Return by the main dirt road. Rough track and some steep sections both up and down.

|From the Cascades car park climb steeply beside the waterfall and continue to a service road. Descend via old forest trails. The second section of this walk is very steep with the need to hang on to tree roots etc for stability.
Some off-track traverse through fairly easy terrain.

|Walk through the locked gate at the entrance to Budderoo National Park and follow the Hindmarch Pass Track until reaching an unmarked track to the left which leads to Les Lambert Lookout. This provides a lovely lunch place among the rocks with wonderful views into Upper Kangaroo Valley. Rough track, fallen trees, unfenced cliffs and steep ascent/descent.

|(NEW!!!) Lake Alexandra, 40' Falls, Boxvale Track to lookout and return. An interesting walk with some good views at the lookout. Some creek crossings which are usually easy. Joint walk with Illawarra Ramblers.
