This is Part 3 of a 60 km, four-day walk, circling Sydney Harbour with the Sydney Harbour and Gladesville Bridges as its eastern and western points. This is a magnificent walk focusing on the harbour itself – the expanse of water, the bridges, islands, urban bushland and city skyline. The route winds along parts of the foreshore, into bays and on to headlands, through bush, along historic streets and over grand bridges. Part 3 starts from Huntleys Point Wharf and finishes at Balmain East Wharf.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(NEW!!!) Park at Wolgan Road and go through Minotaur Lair to Point Sol. Continue east, then north, exploring high pagodas around the cliff edge. Then walk west to the central spine and have a look at the blind slot at GR 422 233. Head along the spine of the ridge and find a way down to the next level towards west at about GR 420 236. The idea is to explore the next 250 m of pagodas and slots, until 4170 E. Return either via Ariadne Thread or down to Minotaur Lair if there is no time. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

This is an exciting walk which takes in the very scenic Gladstone Pass with its patches of rainforest then onto Lindemans Pass before tackling the steep Copeland Pass with its ascent via a system of ropes which will give us access to Sublime Point. Rock scrambling on ropes and along the base of the escarpment. Slippery in places.

Leader will provide itinerary on inquiry. Cultural sensitivity a major prerequisite and a good level of fitness. We will visit World heritage sites in Kathmandu and then fly to Bhutan for a cultural tour 6 days, and climb up to Tigers Nest Monastery... Leader is organising trip with a reputable friend in Nepal who has a company that we have used over the years. Altitude for both Nepal and Bhutan will not be higher than approx 3200 metres. This rough track will really get your heart racing with several steep climbs along the way. 11km walking track is an exhilarating challenge for adventure seekers. This beautiful circuit walk goes through a range of dry and wet forest along the valley, and offers some great views. There are plenty of grass trees along the way to add to the scenery and the creek crossings are very picturesque. The side trip to a large Aboriginal engravings site alone is worth the entry price! At this time of the year, there is an abundance of wild flowers. Steep and slippery sections

Park on the eastern edge of the Little Capertee Creek Camping Ground and make our way up Petries Gully, all the way to the dazzling Rainbow Caves at GR 438 295 and, if time permits, spot height 958. Return via a narrow ridge above Green Gully with breathtaking views onto the Wolgan-Capertee Divide along the way. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
