East Gippsland Trail – Bruthen to Bairnsdale 60km, Bruthen to Nowa Nowa 54km. Central Gippsland Trail – Stratford to Heyfield 58km. Grand Ridge Trail – Boolarra to Stratford 26km. Bass Coast Trail – Wonthaggi to Kilcunda 32km and walk a section of George Bass Coastal Walk 7km – grade 2. Lilydale to Warburton Trail - Mt Evelyn to Launching Place 45km. Murray to the Mountains Trail – Myrtleford to Everton Station 52km, Myrtleford to Bright 60km. All cycles are on crushed granite (hard dirt) off-road paths suitable for hybrid or mountain bikes only. From the top an indistinct track leads down to the Nattai River. After crossing the river, a well-formed track leads to Lake Alexandra. Rough track, slippery rocks, river crossing steep descent.

The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot. On the edge of the escarpment, there are spectacular views. Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.

This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic Track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wildflowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Steep rough track, slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.

Honey gatherers trek eastern Nepal near spectacular Annapurna ranges to view ancient dying tradition of harvesting honeycomb of the giant black bee, the largest bee on our planet, nestled on cliff walls. 15 day trip in November, moderate grade, homestay and tents. Leader will provide itinerary on inquiry. Cultural sensitivity a major prerequisite and a good level of fitness. We will visit World heritage sites in Kathmandu and then fly to Bhutan for a cultural tour 6 days, and climb up to Tigers Nest Monastery... Leader is organising trip with a reputable friend in Nepal who has a company that we have used over the years. Altitude for both Nepal and Bhutan will not be higher than approx 3200 metres. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(NEW!!!) The walk begins at Meryla Pass in Morton NP. From the locked gate continue on the Fire Trail along the ridge. There are several viewpoints which look towards Mt Carrialoo, Crankeys Creek and Lake Yarrunga until reaching the end of the track overlooking Wombat Hill. On the return there is an optional trail leading to Rebeccas View over Sandys Creek on the other side of the ridge. Rough track and unfenced cliffs.

This rough track will really get your heart racing with several steep climbs along the way. 11km walking track is an exhilarating challenge for adventure seekers. This beautiful circuit walk goes through a range of dry and wet forest along the valley, and offers some great views. There are plenty of grass trees along the way to add to the scenery and the creek crossings are very picturesque. The side trip to a large Aboriginal engravings site alone is worth the entry price! At this time of the year, there is an abundance of wild flowers. Steep and slippery sections

Stokes and O’Hares Creeks enclose a succession of idyllic waterholes, three of which are accessed on this delightful walk. Keep looking up for those koalas! Well-formed tracks/fire trails. One steep section of track. Some clambering down sandstone near swimming holes. One steep section of track. Walking poles would be handy.

A lovely walk to do with the usual great scenery and the usual lovely Koscie bushland and flowers.
