Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).Swim | A trip that involves swimmingSlow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace. The justifiably famous Wollangambe Canyon is a delight especially as we float through its wonderfully sculptured narrow confines on our lilos admiring the spectacular scenery including a short detour up Crayfish Canyon. There is no abseils in this canyon but being able to swim is important and a lilo/portable raft is essential. Rock scrambling and deep water so lilo is necessary.

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Swim | A trip that involves swimmingWalk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longBoomerang Pass - Ettrema Creek - Sentry Box Canyon - Myall Creek - Quiera clearing. The wilder untamed region of the Morton National Park is the Ettrema wilderness, an area not nearly as well trodden as the more familiar Buddawangs section and because of this wilder side you largely have the place to yourself. We will follow the supremely beautiful Ettrema Creek along its twisted route with plenty of time to swim in any number of the enticing pools along the way. On our second day we ascend Myall Creek which has an abundance of stunning cascades before a shortish scrub bash back to the Touga Road. Lots of rock hopping and rock scrambling on the last days climb up Myall Creek.

Grade:3/6 Length 32km  400m Sydney Branch

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Swim | A trip that involves swimmingWalk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) A lovely pack walk on the Thorsbourne Trail on Hinchinbrook Island in Queensland. This is one of Queensland’s Great Walks and is a wonderful mixture of rainforest and beaches. Some great campsites; some nice swimming holes; mostly short days; with at least one 2-night stop, all make this a really terrific walk. There is great demand for the limited walk permits at this time of the year so we need to book close to the possible one-year in advance. Seven days (6 nights) of actual walking. A day of snorkeling on the reef prior to the walk is also planned.
