  Mostly on track and under the rainforest canopy with excellent lookouts and two solid climbs. We will visit the imposing Lawrence Hargrave monument, view remnants of a coal mine and see the sculptures acknowledging the local Aboriginal Wodi Wodi people, account of the 5 islands formation. Potential side trip to Robertsons Lookout (adds 2 kms) and late lunch in the Botanical Gardens, time dependant. Two early climbs, 210m and 180m. This is one of the Jim series of walks. Hazards: Two off-track sections including a long off-track scramble up a dry gully, unfenced lookouts, slippery in parts when wet. This walk is rescheduled from 30 April, deferred due to rain.
